Weldon started the brighter of the two teams with Paul (Muz) Murray opening the scoring. Spratton got back into the game with a penalty in the first half. Weldon came out to dominate the second half with further goals from Peter (Ped) Brennan and another from Paul Murray to secure a comfortable win. |

A resurgent Weldon dominated the first half with some superb one-touch football and excellent wing play. Paul (Muz) Murray netted a first half hat-trick with strong team play setting up his goals. The second half was more even, but a superb goal from Adam (Fitz) Fitzjohn (but we don't know if he does) and 2 goals from super-sub Kevin (Yet to find a nickname) McConnell (who's second goal was very special) sealed a great win for Weldon. |

A very good first half performance by a revitalised Weldon team saw them take a first half lead through a goal from Paul (Muz) Murray. After a lot of good possession and some careless finishing by Weldon, Clipston stole a late equalizer in a good spirited game. |
